1 - fragmented market meaning there are a number of listings generating sales. You don't want to go into a market where 1 item is taking the lions share of the profit. Look at apple cider vinegar gummies -- Goli takes such an outside share that I would not enter that market unless I had significant marketing money to invest and time to gradually take share.
2 - under 3K in a good rule of thumb, you don't want to get into a war with a listing that has 15K reviews....will be hard to overcome that lead.
