In regard to incorporating key words into the SEO of the listing page, it is enough to only use each of our key word combinations once on the page? Or does the algorithm connect more hits if they are used both in the title and bullet points/A+ content areas?

And do they work in combination together?

For example if two of your key word combos are "cooking pan" & "kitchen cooking", can you write "kitchen cooking pan" in your title and receive hits for both of your combos?

Thanks again!

Your title is going to be the most important placement from and SEO perceptive and make sure you get your top 1-2 kw phrases into the title.

Yes - you would get credit for both keywords if your used that phrasing and should add 1 to the tittle and another in your bullets to ensure you are maximizing your converse.

An underrated aspect is getting these keywords into your reviews. If you can prompt customers to use those phrases in their review you will see your organic rankings improve in a hurry.

I initially thought that you could only flip items on Amazon unless you're a B2C firm, but it looks like your Substack suggests otherwise. What are the best resources you recommend for getting started in e-commerce? Also, isn't there a risk of Amazon ripping you off? Why wouldn't I use Shopify or Etsy instead of Amazon?

You should do all of the above. Start a Shopify site and sell on Etsy in addition to your Amazon store. A lot of sellers end up with 90%+ of sales on Amazon which is a huge risk to the business. Amazon can suspend you at any moment and with no notice so without other channels your business will go to zero.

You can’t let the risk of Amazon coming into your category to prevent you from running your business. There is nothing stopping Amazon from ripping off your item so you will need to focus on differentiation and branding to make your items stand out in the crowd.

Are there any benefits to advertising your FBA as being veteran owned? (Assuming that the owner's products are not specifically targeting veterans/active duty military customers)

And does stating that it is a veteran owned business on the listing page or store page put the business at risk of getting banned if you don't verify your DD214 with Amazon?

Thank you!

Focusing on a veteran-owned message can be a powerful brand building message. A great example is Black Rifle Coffee — they do a great job of bringing the veteran owned status to the core of the brand. The only thing that I would recommend is to stay consistent with the messaging.

It is unlikely that you would be banned, but rather Amazon would probably reject the content and make you remove the copy before publishing. That being said I do not believe that they require the documentation (but not sure, I have not encountered this situation).
